Why Not?

Thursday night, approximately 10:30 p.m. While both of us are on the couch watching TV, Keri leans over to Neal and says "I want that chaise lounge over on the neighbor's curb across the street. It's going to start raining so we should get it now. What do you think about that?"

Keri says this because there is a man at our church who has occasionally taught some of the women of the congregation to upholster. Keri hopes to use this in his class or call the city for a bulk garbage pick up in the near future. Don't really know which one at this point. Just want to make sure there are options.

So sweet Neal runs across the street in his slippers and hefts the furniture back to our covered back patio. Just another reason to love an already terrific man.The chaise lounge/fainting couch is in horrible condition. Wood cracked, seriously nicked, two different stains or paint over stain, and a worn fabric with holes in it. I'm not sure yet, that it hasn't been used as something for the dogs to lift their leg on while occupying the curb. The neighbors had used it outdoors earlier in the week to lay their tools and materials on while tiling their floors.

What will the future bring?
