Father's Day

 Knowing we would be traveling on Father's Day, we decided to honor Neal the weekend before. The kids prepared cards for him and in our sacrament meeting, they spoke on fatherhood. Neal is a great example to our family. He loves and serves us everyday. He is a good provider both temporally and spiritually.

Keri's Birthday

 For my birthday (and even if it wasn't my birthday), we went blueberry picking with the Hancocks. We kept our distance but had a great time catching up with each other among the bushes. We ate yummy glazed blueberry donuts and headed home. Sophie got me a different styled bee tool and Rhys got me The Music Man which we watched that night! We also ate carrot cake using my mom's recipe with pineapple and raisins (mom did raisins sometimes) in it and it beat the Easter carrot cake. Just sayin'.  Though we all agree that raisins can stay out going forward.

Bee Update

 Today we added our first super, a medium box.  The bees will have to build out comb to store brood and resources. Lots of work ahead for them.
