Martha Stewart, I'm Not

We bought one of those super easy/quick gingerbread house kits after Christmas last year for pre-holiday fun this year. Keri also pulled out a quick gingerbread muffin kit we had in our pantry for who knows how long (but years). With all the hard work already done, we all helped decorate while the muffins baked.

The house turned out great!

The muffins were not so lucky. They were bereft of life before they even entered the oven. Hockey game, anyone? These are the pucks that came out after 30 minutes in the oven. There wasn't even a whiff of gingerbread in the air!
