The Results are In--It's a Boy!

The final results of the gender poll were 22 votes total, 5 (22%) for girl, 17 (77%) for boy. And according to the sonogram this morning we are happy to announce that we have a BOY on the way! Please leave in the comments whether or not you guessed right or wrong. And, yes, we hope that this is the only instance, EVER, that our son's genitals are posted on the internet.

I voted for a boy...not sure why, except that it will be totally awesome to see how Rhs will be compared to Sophie and to see the look on your face the first time you get "sprayed"...just joking :-) Anyway, I'm very excited for you two and cannot wait to experience another wonderful child of yours.

I love that you are having a BOY! I actually didn't vote yet but I may have voted girl since that's what we are having. But regardless of my guesses-- (they are typically wrong) this boy is great news!!!!!

Very cool name! but could you please clarify the pronunciation of Rhys. "rease" "rice" "rise"....

Sure. Reese or Reece. Like the actress, Mrs. Witherspoon, but this name is for a boy or girl. Historically it has primarily been a boy's name. The spelling is Welch because Keri has Welch in her family line.
