This Time It's Snow

So our snow days were mostly ice.  It snowed all day just after the kids were entering school, Keri was off to a sub job, and Neal to work.  We watched it from our respective windows all day.  After school let out, Keri picked up the kids, grabbed our best cold weather gear, and took off to one of our city's larger parks to enjoy the white stuff with a few others.

A couple snow angels, watching kids attempting to sled our pathetic "hills", and a good snowball fight later, we were back in the car. Sophie was crying because of the cold, Keri had mascara down to her cheekbones from at least 3 snowballs to the face, and Rhys sat smugly for having pitched said snowballs.  It was over in 30 minutes but it was great to let loose.

Love is Neal getting back in his car after arriving home to go buy fast food tacos for our family's dinner because he knew how important it is for us to put family fun first today.  By the way, before we made that dinner arrangement he was quite pleased to have gotten away with shoving a fresh snowball down the front of Keri's sweater as she greeted him at he door, where it was nicely held against her skin by her bra.  Brrrr!
