Pre-Easter Activities

Keri has been pretty busy lately with her work in the Relief Society and fighting off a cold.  We have been able to enjoy some Easter activities despite that. We enjoyed the Eggs-travaganza our city puts on every spring.  Again, we were happy to see lots of friends out with their families too.  The kids got their picture with the Easter Bunny. Rhys believes this poorly disguised person is actually the Easter Bunny and he lives in the bush behind the springy backdrop. We never suggested this as parents, he just has a believing heart.
Our kids are, of course, adorable but my favorite moment was a couple families prior to ours. Is that not an awesome moment caught on film?! Sure the actual terror is horrible but it makes for a great picture.
For Family Home Evening we reviewed reverence for Heavenly Father and Jesus and then colored eggs.

We also sent goodies off in the mail to some family. We stuffed the eggs, taped them up, and put the mailing label right on the large, plastic egg.  They made it too!

We are looking forward to spending time with family this Easter.  We also want to spend the week after Easter remembering the true meaning of Easter as we discuss the mission of our Savior, now that Keri is well and, um, functioning like a living person.
