After a busy morning of running errands with my little guy, I told him that I was really going to miss him when he goes to kindergarten (full day in TX) in the fall. I told him that although I would be happy for him, I'd still feel a little sad not to have him around as often.
Rhys said, "You not be sad...because..." and then he opened my hand and placed a kiss in my palm. This is from the book, "The Kissing Hand" where a mom raccoon gives her son a kiss on his hand in case he feels anxious as he goes off to school. Melt my heart!
Then he proceeded to tell me, "But I not miss you."
