Keri's Christmas Miracle

It happened yesterday when Sophie awoke a bit upset and I offered to hold her. There I was, sitting on the couch, my daughter looking like an angel as she returned to slumber in my arms. Sweet and solemn Christmas music played softly on the stereo and the lights on the Christmas tree were aglow. Rhys was quietly dozing in his room. It was perfect and still. I took it all in with a deep breath and my eyes were misty as I thought about how blessed I am.
